问题原来是intellij项目目录中的源文件夹有问题。通过将我的所有java文件移动到一个新目录并在intellij中重新打开它作为一个具有单个正确源文件夹的新项目，问题就完全消失了。
（如问题中所述，代码本身是可用的，并通过命令行工作。）
