更改底图上的箭头形状

我正在使用此功能在底图上绘制波浪方向箭头：

map.quiver(x[points],y[points],np.cos(np.deg2rad(wDir[points])),np.sin(np.deg2rad(wDir[points])),
    edgecolor='grey', facecolor='none', linewidth=.5)

问题是箭头非常难看。 （参见图片）。我该如何塑造箭头以获得更细的箭头？
