for (int i = 1; i <= NUM_EVENTS + 1; i++) {
            int next = queue.poll().getTime();
            System.out.println("polled " + next);
        }

此循环运行两次。请尝试删除+ 1。然后将没有NullPointerException。

queue.poll()在第二次迭代中为null。因此,当您对null执行getTime()时。它抛出NullPointerException。
