我已经设置了一个表格，上面有一个勾选框以及几个textareas来输入评论。我希望用户必须完成textarea（tutorComment），如果他们勾选复选框（提醒）

这是很多代码，我不知道究竟是什么，但有些问题需要注意：

  • 看起来你在DOCTYPE等之前的顶部错过了'?>'。

  • 表单有no action=""所以把当前php文件的名称或$ _SERVER ['PHP_SELF']

  • 学生姓名选项和警报输入没有结束标记

  • 尝试在提交按钮上执行isset，不需要隐藏输入：

if(isset($_REQUEST['submit'])) {或if(isset($_POST['submit'])) {

如果它仍然无效，请在输出表单之前将整个代码块移到顶部。

  • 不要使用empty（）来检查它是否已设置：

    if(isset($_POST['alert']))
    $alert = $_POST['alert'];
else 
    $alert = "";

或简称：$alert = isset($_POST['alert'])?$_POST['alert']:"";

  • 而不是：

    if( !strlen($_POST['tutorComments']) 
  && isset($_POST['alert'] )){
 echo "You must enter a reason why you have clicked the alert box";
 exit();
}

这样写：

if(isset($_POST['alert'])){
    if(!strlen($_POST['tutorComments']))

或尝试不同的测试，例如：if(strlen($_POST['tutorComments'])< 1)等。
